In recent years, the Nicene Creed in English shifted back to the Holy Church (as in the original Latin), and no longer only the Church. February can be called the Month of the Holy Church, and for reasons shared by me in previous February messages. To sanctify the Church with our Triune God, threesomes oft come up: including the Montfortian preRosary prayer: “I unite with all the (1) saints, with all the (2) just on earth, and with all the (3) faithful here present….”  Of other threesomes, the famous mystic for Poor Souls — who was seen by Sobichen Mathew and I near Montichiari in a photo with family at the Mystical Rose bookshop (they knew Simma personally) – Maria Simma even has the great Mystical Rose threesome in her famous book Get Us Out Of Here on the poor souls. On p. 85 of that book, we have what also pertains to this Year of Consecrated Life.  The interviewer Nicky Eltz asked Maria, “I’m sure you know better than most that many seminaries today stand empty. What causes this and how could it be remedied?” Maria answered, “The remedy for this would be if they returned to emphasizing the spirit of prayer, sacrifice and penance. Then the men would come again in waves.”

Just a couple days ago was the memorial of Our Lady of Tears. The second message of Our Lady of Akita to a Sister Agnes pertains greatly to our Mystical Rose for this Month of the Holy Church. That message came on August 3, 1973, a First Friday, when the heavenly voice from the statue warned: “Many men in this world afflict the Lord. In order that the world might know His anger, the Heavenly Father is preparing to inflict a great chastisement on all mankind.”  Our Lady of Akita interceded, “I have prevented the coming of calamities by offering Him the sufferings of the Son on the Cross, His Precious Blood and beloved souls who console Him forming a cohort of victim souls. Prayer, penance and courageous sacrifices can soften the Father’s anger.” How greatly that connects with Mystical Rose’s 3 Roses, which originally were swords, too! Also in this Year of Consecrated Life, what Our Lady of Akita continued saying greatly applies: “know that you must be fastened to the Cross with three nails. These three nails are poverty, chastity and obedience. Of the three, obedience is the foundation.”   When Sr. Agnes was professed, she pronounced these three vows. Although the wound on the hand of Sr. Agnes disappeared on July 27, the wound on the hand of the statue remained until its disappearance on September 29. At that time the statue emitted a bright light. The wound had remained for three months.

As the wise will shine like stars in the sky (of the New Heaven), the holy ones of Holy Mother Church were created to everlastingly be like stars. How? Far more than just with a glorified body, our personhoods will be face to Face with the Divine Persons of our Triune God. As the joys of Heaven will be unimaginably the greatest joys to ever have and forever, the Face of God is in the unimaginably ‘lumen gloriae’ (light of glory) to be beheld forever. We can’t even imagine the wonder of that Light: as St. Augustine wrote. For Being Triune, the Face of GOD could be something 3-fold, or even flashing with JESUS’s glorified Human Face or more. As our Creator of all faces, ABBA Father and Godman and the Holy Spirit may even flash with every face They Co-created and will have perfected.  How? Likely wrinkle-free, if even showing some of the wisest saints of old-age having faces that flash from the glorified new face to the changing one they had on earth: in recall of their sanctity.  For example, Blessed Mother Theresa’s face may be shown gloriously with alterations: back to her wonderfully photoed smiles over her long life. Saint John Paul II’s, too: the famously most photographed pope in history (also per the longest papal span of years in camera eras). Such is of my 5th Unitive Mystery — the final one for a Definitive Weekly Cycle of the Rosary (archived at the Vatican) – called the Beatific Vision. It can be recommended for contemplation throughout the 34 other Rosary Mysteries of that Cycle (7 days times 5 Mystery sets) to remind us of how we want to always live in the NOW for the Beatific Vision forever. While the Glorious Mysteries are oft also recited on weekends by Mother Church, the Unitive are set for Sundays, keeping the Glorious on Saturdays (especially for the greatest annual Mass: the Easter Vigil). Holy mystics taught that the Unitive Way is the most perfect of the 3 that St. John of the Cross set up: Purgative>Illuminative>Unitive. Of hymns that go with this super-reality of being starry forever, one is in the breviary called ‘Mary Immaculate, Star of the Morning’ – as she is known as Stella Matutina — also Stella Maris (Star of the Sea), etc. Besides appearing as Rosa Mystica, as Our Lady of Guadalupe with Her miraculous roses She is the Woman Clothed with the Sun (last Bible book) with a starry mantle.  Why? She also wants us to wear especially the brown scapular from Her Mantle as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel bestowed to St. Simon Stock. It’s the most covenantal sacramental since it guarantees that one’s soul will never suffer the flames of hell… provided it is properly (in grace) worn when one is dying. In England it’s called the ‘Garment of Grace.’ It’s a sign that anyone with it on when dying is in a state of grace, for She never breaks Her Great Promise of it: it can be removed by Her or by God if someone is deliberately and unrepentently in mortal sin when dying (there, we must avoid the ‘sin of presumption’ as the Psalmist wrote). Am now composing a booklet on the brown scapular from my European and American journals – please keep its future publication in your prayer.

It has a chart of 58 official ‘Holy Tonys’ (Anthonys) of Mother Church with prayers of far more than finding lost objects (also included): converting or reverting ‘lost’ sheep, too. Popular songs that go with the call to be starry forever include one of St. John Paul II seen in it on youtube: ‘To Dream the Impossible Dream.’ Lyrics include “this is my quest: to follow that star” and “to reach the unreachable star.” One less popular on youtube is excellent, in tying it to saints: ‘We All Shine like Stars’ with lyrics of “because that’s what we are” and “we all wish upon a star….”

Have a HEAVENLY (‘on earth as it is in Heaven’), HOLY, Hearty, Happy Month of The Holy Church, Fr. Ed, SOLT, yet MRMS too in spirit.

May Our Lady ever-flowering & overflowing with graces & blessings unfold in us The 3-Fold indwelling  Divinity  (of Her 3 ‘Roses’) to  ever  spring, sing, & ring alive.

As the lengthy ‘Year of Consecrated Life’ (officially from Nov. 29, 2014 to Feb. 2, 2016) is now in effect, it was great to learn from our Brother in India, Sobichen Mathew, that he’d pass around seminaries there the Mystical Rose Prayer that God gave me last May in Switzerland. It was en route to meeting with representatives of the Bishop of Brescia, Luciano Monari, for a Mystical Rose Society of Priests. Our Mystical Rose devotee David Kennedy displayed the new prayer on the back of holy Mystical Rose cards. Before sharing that prayer [below], I researched and found that Jesus in Galilean Aramaic would’ve called His Mother Mary “Maryam” – not just the Hebrew Miriam. Too, ‘Mom’ in that Galilean Aramaic goes great with Immaculate Mary – ‘IMMA.’ It greatly matches ‘ABBA’ for Dad, too – both are 4 letters and end in ‘A’ – and Jesus may have used it more than Maryam, as children use “Mom(my)” for their mothers. Too, on November 25th there’s even a Saint Imma: who may have taken her name from that wondrous ‘Mom’ expression still used in Holy Land territory today. She’s the only saint with that name in listed histories of saints (while a famous 11th c. St. Emma of Bremen is o/k/as Imma).  In this Year of Consecrated Life, the intercession of St. Imma (and my prayer — next paragraph) may help vocations, too. Why? St. Imma of Würzburg was an abbess at Karlburg of the 8th c. who donated a castle in Würzburg to the Bishop Burkhard, having been the daughter of Duke Hedan II of Thuringia – Germany territories. She died in 752, at c. 52 years of age.

Here’s my Godgiven prayer:

“† All-loving ABBA, You will not the ‘2nd death’ of any sinner – rather, that all be converted and saved. Through the intercession of Mary Mystical Rose, St. Joseph the Worker, and all holy beings we ask You for an increase of holy workers in the Mystical Body of Christ: and as laborers for Imma¹ Mary, Mother of the Church, too. With the Holy Spirit, please do daily enspirit us to please You as true co-workers with Your Divine Son made Man and Carpenter: Christ Our Savior and Holy Lord Who is ever at work with You Above. Jesus the Worker and You Holy Spirit Enlivener² help move us to good works of prayer, sacrifice, penance and all that ABBA Father wills. For the most holier glory of God [asDg]3 – Amen! Amen! Amen. †”

¹Imma=Mom in Galilean Aramaic. ²1986 Dominum et Vivificantem #21 for ‘Enlivener’ per the H.S. Who “enlivens” Jesus as revealed in the theophany at the Jordan River. 3The acronym [asDg] goes in latin with this: All ‘for the most holier glory of God’ [asDg: ‘ad extram’ in that God ‘ad intram’ doesn’t need increase in glory in Himself, glory as He is, yet outside of Himself He loves to develop it]. This ‘asDg’ motto that Mystical Rose gave me expands a superlative adjective into a comparative extra that is quite neologistic in Latin: ad sanctissimiorem Dei gloriam, meaning for the most holier glory of God, asDg (similar to amDg – Majiorem=greater, of the Jesuit Order).  From the English to the Latin: for=ad/the most holier=‘sanctissimiorem’/glory=gloriam/of God=Dei.

Also, for this Month, the name in Aramaic of Jesus the Messiah is Yeshua Meshiakah. Of course, ‘Yeshua’ got widely known the more by the Passion of Christ movie. You can love calling on His Holy Name in Aramaic, as even our SOLT founder Fr. Jim Flanagan expressed that Aramaic will likely be known by all who enter into Heaven. Why not? We can know and hear Above the original expressions that Jesus of Nazareth used on earth, and others of Him. It sounds like this: Yey-shoo-ǝ Meh-shee-yǝ-kǝ. By far the main Forename of history to express is His Name, in whatever way, too. Whereas ABBA (Father) — the 1st Person of the Trinity — is not a forename but a familial expression for ‘Dad.’ Still, ABBA is the greatest of expressions: Being the only ‘Originless Origin’ of All, as the writer Origen knew. The 1st Person is our only All Divine Dad, and the H.S. inspires us to “ABBA” – as in the Bible.

The Jesuit founder of the Society of Jesus, St. Ignatius of Loyola, loved the Name of Jesus. Pope Francis is our first Jesuit Pope, and he held 2014 as the Jubilee Year of the Holy Name for Franciscans and Poor Clares.  It was the centenary of devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus in their Orders. They recognized that Pope Francis has great devotion to the Holy Name, and they were grateful to him for his Jubilee Year mandate. Any Litanies of Holy Names are great to PRAY this month, too – there, added right on Dec. 10 of Our Lady of Loreto (of the greatest Marian Litany in history). While not even Marian blue Sacramentaries have this Title of Hers, an imprimatured Mass for Her is on the internet. What an honor today to have celebrated that Mass on Her Feast date. One of my first international Masses was in Loreto, Italy, back in 1997. It is officially known to be half of the Holy House in Nazareth wherein the Archangel Gabriel appeared and Jesus was Incarnated via 3 Drops of Blood from the IHM into Her holy womb (as some Church officially holy mystics had learned). What a sense of the Incarnation in the Consecration at Masses, and especially there in that Loreto, Italy Basilica… in the Chapel therein with that half of the Holy House (of brick walls), which has an altar in it for Masses.

Certainly the Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus is the greatest to pray for this month. It was composed by the Franciscan St. Bernardine of Siena and is easy to find. He preached on the Holy Name of Jesus throughout Italy and drew many crowds. In the following month of Feb. 6, the Church commemorates the Jesuit St. Paul Miki and companion martyrs who were crucified in Nagasaki in 1597, including St. Passio. They were speared crying out “Jesus, Mary!” and Christian onlookers cried out the same Holy Names. What a passion they had for the Holy Names, and on their crucified ‘PASSIO’ day, too!

Have a HEAVENLY (‘on earth as it is in Heaven’), HOLY, Hearty, Happy Month of The Holy Name of Jesus Christ,

Month of The Holy Family

12/01/2014

As the very title Mystical Rose has a lot to do with the Incarnation and Birth of Jesus Christ in the supernaturally mystical way, people have compared it to light through stained-glass Rose Windows. The 3 colors for this Month of the Holy Family can go firstly with them:  MARY  JESUS  JOSEPH. Also, white for Baby Jesus spotlessly Incarnate and born, red  for the martyred Holy Innocents, and  yellow-gold prior to them for the famous Golden Gate (in Jerusalem) conception of Mary. That Gate is located on the east walls of the old city Jerusalem, and is the oldest current Gate still there. Saints Anna and Joachim immaculately conceived of Mary there by what holy mystics understand was preternatural conception.  How? That by no more than their famous ‘embrace’ at the Golden Gate, Mary was conceived. While Jesus was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, it’s likely that holy angels had preternaturally taken procreative and sanctified cells from Joachim and moved them into Anna. Why? Because I.C. was extraordinary, yet not by any recorded ‘overshadowing of the H.S.’ with Anna. So, likely it was preter (extra) natural, though not supernatural (of the Divinity of the H.S.).

The gain of setting December for the Month of the Holy Family, even though some call it the Month of the Infancy of Christ, is that families in our times especially need more help with prayers, sacrifices, and penances. Too, it doesn’t leave out the Infancy of Christ at all. What a Holy Family was Mary’s, yet also the ‘family’ of the Holy Innocents ever in Heaven.  While St. Stephen is the official ‘Protomartyr’ in Church history, these Innocents are officially the earliest martyrs of Christ in the Church: for they were the very first ones martyred in direct connection with Jesus Christ.

Another Holy Family threesome to go with these is that of Zachary, Elizabeth, and John the Baptist.  Although St. Stephen is the ‘Protomartyr,’ in the sense of the first one after Christ, St. John the Baptist was the first adult to go a martyr in direct connection with Jesus Christ. In a way, St. Elizabeth goes with the white rose (as the holy cousin to Mary, the I.C.), St. John with the red  rose, and St. Zachary with the  yellow-gold rose. As gold goes with glory: the Benedictus prayer of Lauds, being of St. Zachary is of great daily honor to him, too, in the Divine Office of the Church. Relatedly for a Month of the Holy Family, as other holy families reflect the Main One of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, these 3-some holy families reflect It much. Too, the white rose can go with St. Anna, the red  rose for Holy Mary (Our Lady of 7 Sorrows later: the Flight into Egypt with slaughter of the Holy Innocents, etc.), and the yellow-gold rose for St. Joachim. What holy family threesomes for our families: mainly our JMJ.

Have a Heavenly, HOLY, Hearty, Happy, Healthy Month of The Holy Family, as annually as possible!

Month of All Holy Ones

11/01/2014

The gain of setting September for Christ’s Divinity can be great, to honor Jesus the Logos the more, too. As October maintains PRAYER via the Most Holy Rosary as very necessary to our lives, the fullness of its mysteries incorporate the whole buildup of months and more. This leads greatly into November as a call to the Holiness of Christ as seen in all His Saints, Blesseds, etc. Such holy oneness with the Triune Being takes us to the joy of Christmas, of rebirth, of many souls released from Purgatory into Heaven, and the spirit of Maranatha (Come Lord Jesus) for J-Day: Jesus’s Day of Judgment Day of absolutely every human person. The indescribably most DECISIVE moment in all histories (all unwrapped) is J-Day. Since the H.S. is the sanctifier of souls, and Our Father wants us all to be holy, November can be entitled ‘Month of All Holy Ones,’ especially too for “All Saints’ Day” starting the month. Indeed, ‘HallowsSseen’ can be extended mainly throughout Nov. 1st – since it’s the 24 hour time-frame of celebrating saints (rather than just evening 1ST Vespers). The displays of saints and more can extend with it, and more safe candy-drops in the daytime, too.

Having shared last year for November how I hope to have published a book on the Eucharist, and how halloween should be renamed Hallowsseen, November can stand out for ‘All Holy Ones:’ as saints, too, can help to co-sanctify us. Hallowsseen might be accepted by any mainly Christian secular society, yet within the Catholic Church HallowsSseen would better. Why? The ‘S’ is for its Solemnity status. Also in the manuscript for the book I have “Angel or Saint” to rid of the more paganic origins of halloween: including “trick or treat.” The actual origin is plural of ‘All Hallows Evening.’ Far better to drop in a piece of candy with a holy card, too.  Also, rather than any Spookfest for parishes (as in Texan towns), ‘SaintsFest’ would stand out and for blessings of bread, candy, and explanations of how Solemnities have the most graces at a Mass: after them Feasts (as of the Apostles, etc.), and after them Memorials (more than optional ones, only).  Too, how honoring one’s patronal saint day at Mass would bring in special extra graces: for God wants us to honor our patron saints, too. Even if it’s Bl. Mother Theresa, one could see if any nearby parish would honor her at Mass. Even if not, one can do so privately at the Mass.

Truly it’s far more blessed to honor saints and angels than display witches, warlocks, or spiders and skeletal stuff: besides holy costumes vs. diabolical ones. Relatedly, while drafting this into tomorrow’s memorial of various saints (as many are in daily calendars), there’s a great ‘Mystically Rosey’ one. How? For her outstanding Prayer, Sacrifice, and Penance as a Cistercian Sister. Who? Saint Emilina of Boulancourt at Longeville, France. She not only had deep Prayer life, yet fasted weekly for three days without even any food or drink – Sacrifice.  As for Penance, she wore a pointed chain under her habit and walked barefoot. Many would visit her, and she’d convert some. She died at the age of the BVM (as Bl. Emmerick learned – 63 years), and in the 12th c.

HOLY, Hearty, Happy Month of All Holy Ones!

Month of the Most Holy Rosary

10/01/2014

In each Month of the Most Holy Rosary it’s precious to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary (Regina Sanctissimi Rosarii) to have special ways to honor Her. There are traditionally 15 Promises with the Holy Rosary, yet She can be capable of doing more beyond them for rosary devotees – great though those 15 are alone. Every country should have a special shrine to Her. Why not? Behold how Her favors can even go beyond those great 15 Promises: in Guatemala, for example, where She’s famous as Our Lady of the Rosary, Her devotees found that her bright pink beautiful face shades up over national problems. Thanks to the Dominican priest, Fr. Montoya, Her image in 1592 was set in pure silver. She holds a large rosary in one hand and the Child Jesus in the other. Leaders there proclaimed her as Patroness of that nation in 1821. She was made ‘Queen of Guatemala’ in 1833 and crowned on January 26, 1934 at the cathedral plaza with a huge crowd: Her crown has many jewels, including a gold rose. Her current shrine of the Virgin of the Rosary was begun in 1788 and done in 1808.  The entire month of October there is occasion for celebration, feasting, and constant pilgrimages to Her sanctuary.

In the USA, shrines in honor explicitly of Her Title are in New Jersey (where our web-pager lives and works) and in New York. Why? They’re the only States with two: the Perpetual Rosary Shrine at the Monastery of the Perpetual Rosary in Camden and the Rosary Shrine, Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary in Summit; Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii in Brooklyn and the Rosary Garden Shrine in Monroe. Besides them there’s a Lourdes Rosary Shrine of St. Louis Bertrand Church in Louisville, KY. Those 5 are the only ones listed in the whole USA per se.

Worldwide, while Our Lady of Fatima, Lourdes, etc. are famous for rosary apparitions, St. Mary Majors Basilica (with Our Lady of Snows Chapel) is famous for great rosary recitation for Christmas Day (or Season) with the popes. Why? The original Crib of Christ is preserved there right under the baldaquin(o) – main altar (confirmed by the mystic Bl. Emmerick, too). Yet the most famous place specifically of her Title is the Pontifical Shrine of the Virgin of the Rosary of Pompei, a minor basilica, commissioned  by Bl. Bartholomew Longo, whose memorial is Oct. 5. His conversion is about the most extreme: from about the worst to about the best, becoming a 3rd Order Dominican, and beatified by St. John Paul II. There’s a great shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary in Fuzhou, China, too (besides also a Church in her name, thanks to Archbishop Zheng who had the ROSA MYSTICA SANCTUARY set up there) with territory referred to as ‘Rosary Villa,’ and used as a place for priests’ retreats and group pilgrimages. Finally, Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag, with a 17th c. Catholic ivory icon, is greatly pilgrimaged to in the Philippines.  She’s officially known there as the patroness of the sick, helpless, and needy. (It’s 200 kilometers north of Manila.) Though we may not pilgrimage in October to any of these places to recite the rosary, we certainly can unite in spirit and with St. Louis Marie de Montfort’s preRosary prayer: “I unite with all the saints in Heaven, with all the just on earth, and with all the faithful here present.  I unite with Thee O my Jesus, in order to praise worthily Thy Holy Mother, and to praise Thee in Her and through Her. I renounce all the distractions I may have during this rosary which I wish to pray with modesty, attention, and devotion, just as if it were to be the last of my life.” Personally, I like to start that prayer in honor of the Lord’s Prayer, too: “I unite with Thee O my Jesus, in order to honor worthily our Heavenly Abba Father, and for greater oneness with You Both in the H.S….”

Glory to the Trinity, and to Our Lady of the Rosary!

Month of the Divinity of Christ

09/01/2014

The August month of ‘the Soul of Christ’ leads well into ‘the Divinity of Christ’ for September. In the Office of Readings for the Queenship of Mary (Aug. 22), the 12th c. bishop St. Amadeus of Lausanne honors Mary by reference to ‘the divine Lebanon’ (= Kingdom of God). “In her abundant goodness she has channeled the spring of reason’s garden, the well of living and life-giving waters that pour forth in a rushing stream from divine Lebanon and flow down from Mount Zion until they surround the shores of every far-flung nation.” As I shared this last August, Mary is ‘kecharitomene’ – the ‘full of grace,’ in Greek. The saint of Lausanne adds on: “With divine assistance she has redirected these waters and made them into streams of peace and pools of grace.” His write-up goes perfectly with Mystical Rose’s ‘little Lourdes’ of Fontanelle (=little spring). While bodily healing can be had by our caring motherly Mystical Rose at the Fontanelle ‘little Lourdes’ or beyond, far more vital to her is what we had in our last August message: springs of grace in the soul for more than merely bodily healing, and per Her ‘kecharitomene’ unto ‘Mediatrix of Grace.’ Jesus requested our oneness with the Divine, too, at the Last Supper – with the Father and Son. Far more than just our body and our blood, it is our soul that can bring us to participate FOREVER in the DIVINITY of our GOD.  Why?  While the body receives the Host, the soul is the recipient of grace. We know our souls outlive our bodies when death splits in and shuts off the body. August can highlight how the Human Soul of Jesus did far more, of course, for His Body – as His Whole Soul was there with His first Human ‘blastula’ Body cell, rather than much of His Body and Blood for His Soul.  Yet September, on His Divinity, can highlight how the hypostatic union (with His Divinity) ever does infinitely more for His Humanity – as is most miraculously had at every consecration at Mass.

By the Host and/or the Chalice (Body and Blood of Christ + Soul and Divinity thereby: the Whole Christ) our souls and bodies can be more than temporarily sanctified. By His Divinity we can be immortalized. As some saints have incorruptible bodies, they fully know that far more wondrous are their immortal souls for future glorious bodies – per DIVINE Infinite Power of God — far more than a merely incorruptible worm-like body (nor corrupted by any worms that may go for their tombs).  Worm-like? Yes. Worms have body organs, eyes, and other senses too. Of course, our bodies are more sacred to God, though.

St. John of the Cross, the Mystical and Ascetical Doctor of the Church, shares on the unity requested by Jesus with the Father at the Last Supper (John Ch. 17) in the Office of Readings, p. 955.  He knew, of course, that we’d never be God from God, yet almost as wondrous in eternity: “not that that the Son is asking the Father to make the saints equally one with Him in Divine essence and nature […] rather that they be united with Him in love, just as the Father and Son are one […] souls possess the same goods by participation that the Son possesses by nature.  As a result, they are truly divine by participation, equals and companions of God.

Holiness can be passing, depending – like the state of grace, should one fall into mortal sin – whereas immortality, should we attain it, will never be passing, nor the holiness that will forever be with it.  Final Perseverance (in grace) is about the greatest gift we can ask for in order that our Divine God (also Incarnate in Christ) Director constantly of all humanity, can immortalize us and have us forever PERFECT in His ‘Transcendentals’ (= Divine Attributes: as taught typically in Catholic philosophy and theology).

While the soul is more tantamount to our salvation than our bodies only, what’s actually paramount to any soul’s salvation is God’s Divinity. So, how good it is to focus the more on His Divinity in September.  Of ways to do so, hereof: the common expression of the Body, Blood, Soul, and DIVINITY of Christ… which also aligns with our monthly messages in sequence from June to September.

Glory to the Trinity, and to The DIVINITY of Christ, 2nd Person of the Trinity!

Month of the Soul of Christ

08/01/2014

With the Assumption of Mary and the sequencing of months of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ, as we call August the Month of ‘the Soul of Christ,’ it is good to highlight it thus, emphasizing the greater values of Fontanelle.  Namely, while our Mystical Rose referred to Fontanelle as a ‘little Lourdes’ for all the healings to be had in that spring of water, mainly the springs of grace in the soul relate to Mary.   How? Mary is known as the ‘kecharitomene’ – the ‘full of grace,’ in Greek. Too, St. Joan of Arc shows the emphasis in her final testimony before being brought to great sorrows (which Our Lady had all the more).  Namely, she told her judges that the one thing she wanted more than anything was “to be in a state of grace.” (Not even a healed body could presume a graceless soul to get saved.)

Pope John 22nd was considered the actual author of the famous Anima Christi hymn, in English ‘Soul of Christ’ a/k/as ‘Soul of my Savior.’ Although some thought that St. Ignatius of Loyola authored it, due to the hymn’s initials often in the headings of his retreat papers, it is actually known that he didn’t (tho he loved it).  Anima Christi sanctificame = Soul of Christ, sanctify me.  The ‘Body of Christ’ part is ‘salvame’ = save me, due to what especially John wrote-up in Chapter 6 of his Gospel.

Actually, it’s clearly ecclesial to emphasize the following (given that the H.S. is the officially taught sanctifier of souls via the sanctifying graces He gives souls) – “Abba Father, Existencer-Creator-Sustainer of my soul; Jesus Co-creator and Savior of my soul (and whole being); and Holy Spirit, sanctifier of my soul” – then add “I love You” or other, especially at the start of the day or under any trial.  Even more, “I unconditionally adore You” which is the greatest love – unconditional ‘latria’ (in Latin=worship beyond ‘dulia,’ praise only, or veneration) – since adoration is only for God.  So, while the Soul of Christ can surely help sanctify us, given that His Whole Person is gifted to us per the Eucharist (Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity), the Church teaches officially that the H.S. is the One actuating it, ever anointing us with Christ = the Anointed One. So, the H.S. is the Sanctifier of souls — thanks to Jesus our only Savior for opening wide the gates to such saving sanctification of especially our souls.  Why so much the soul?

While the heart is part of the law of loving God with our whole being (the ‘Shemah’ in Hebrew), the love of the heart that is of graced affections and not just romantic passions or attractive instincts is what accrues/builds up in the soul especially for the hour when the soul leaves the body for J-Day.  This is especially holy when transcending the challenges of any enemy via forgiving him/her, etc., even if about to get injured or more (as Mexican martyrs and others did).

Too, while the mind is also of the greatest commandment of love (the Shemah), again any mental virtues can effectuate actual graces that pass into sanctifying ones of the soul.  One example: a lector at Mass who is motivated to share God’s word for God’s glory firstly, while also for our salvation; who thus gifts the congregation with at least something of the H.S. with the transmission of the Word of God, especially unto ‘mittere’ (Latin for – to send), from which is derived in the past tense of the verb in English the word ‘Mass.’

Of course, finally too, the spirit, or the strength (of one’s spirit) with which we can love God is very related to the Holy Spirit in developing graces into the soul, which of course is to be wholly loving of God via avoiding disgrace and building up graces mainly by moral life and sacramentally so, goodwill, etc.

While procreating human life is wondrous, by far the most extraordinary gift goes beyond to the God-given soul.  How? For even if a baby does not make it alive out of the womb, the babe’s soul lives forever and in a better place. While humans can collaborate with God in procreating, only our God (Who gave humans procreative gifts) creates and directly gifts the soul to the newly conceived person. Even the Human Soul of Jesus — God from God, yet incarnated – was created. Also Mary, as explained by Bl. Anne C. Emmerick, was not naturally conceived with her God-created soul.  We could see how Jesus was supernaturally conceived by the H.S., while likely Mary was preternaturally conceived (without original sin) per no more than the famous ‘embrace’ or hug ‘at the Golden Gate’ in Jerusalem.  This means that angels (‘preter’ = ‘extra’ natural though not ‘super’) transferred human seed of Joachim into Anne without more than a clothed hug. Even anyone like me, born on April 26, has had the likelihood of having been naturally conceived (by calculation of 9 months prior to birth) on the very feast of Mary’s parents – Saints Joachim and Anne, July 26… considering the math of the different day lengths to those months, too.  Yet all of us have had our souls conceived by God.  How great that is!

Just one human soul means more to God than all the apes on the planet?  Absolutely.  Why?  An ape may even simulate a human smile, depending, yet does not do so by freely willed love – only by instincts.

The great prolife priest, now deceased, Fr. Norman Uno Weslin, o.s., founder of the Lambs of Christ, preached regularly how the whole created universe of matter without any human soul is less to God than even one human.  Why?  God is LOVE and loves to be freely, consciously, conscientiously, self-willingly (philosophically termed ‘sentiantly’) loved by any one of us created in His Image and Likeness = free will, sentience, self-consciousness, etc.

HAVE A Blessed and Holy August month of the Soul of Christ!

Month of Maria Rosa Mystica & traditionally of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus

07/01/2014

En route to our Maria Rosa Mystica July month, June closes this year with the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the 28th.  It is no longer a mere ‘optional’ memorial (since raised to higher memorial status right on my very ordination in June 7, 1997).  3 Chinese girl ‘Maria martyrs’ are celebrated that very 28th!  [Like to the 3 Saint Marys at the Passion of Christ: such suffering, yet holiness had, too.] This is perfectly one with the 3 roses of Her Heart: all 3 girls even had the name of MARIA!  This also goes with our 2013 message of 3 Chinese ‘Rosa martyrs’ too of 1900: Rosa Chen (b. 1878) 22 years old, Rosa Zhao (b. 1878) 22 too, and virgin Rosa Hui (b. 1855) 45 years old. The 3 ‘Maria Martyrs’ were also martyred in 1900, and on June 28: St. Maria Zheng Xu (b. 1889) was only 11, St. Maria Chi Yu (b. 1885) was only 15, and St. Maria Fan Kun (b. 1884) only 16. All 3 were born in Hebei, China and grew up in a Christian-run orphanage in Wangla: apostolic vicariate of Southeastern Zhili, China.  All 3 girls were martyred there in the Boxer Rebellion.

Mary can work many miracles, and with the intercession of the saints – too, by the 3somes of ‘Maria martyrs’ and ‘Rose martyrs’ of China, etc. ‘Our Lady of Miracles’ has this very title in different places (especially in France and in Italy, including in Rome).  She worked a great wonder here in Corpus Christi, Texas (typed up now on 1st Vespers of its Solemnity of June 21 in the USA).  What wonder? After years of Masses and Rosary processions to shut down the killing mill (abortuary), it finally did shut down 5 weeks after a holy and huge Image of the Polish Jasna Gora, Czestocovia was displayed with Masses. The prolife HLI chaplain had brought the Polish ‘Black Madonna’ to C.C., Texas for prolife Masses and more. The Emeritus Bishop Gracida did an exorcistic prayer in front of the abortuary the same day. As declared by St. John Paul II in Colorado in the 1990s, prolife work is America’s #1 apostolate. Far more than roses only, the lives of unborn babies matter so much to GOD, Mary, Guardian Angels, etc. While rosaries crown her with roses that never fade, especially if well-prayed, her 12-star crown of Apocalypse can refer all the more to human persons: to the 12 Apostles and the 144,000 pure saints, the 12 tribes of Israel, etc. as Queen-Mother of all Saints.

FIAT: Mary can work many wonders, miracles, and for what I love to term ‘DDs’ = Divine Designs. What a ‘DD’ too that in the city where Mystical Rose first appeared (Brescia), Pope Paul VI had been both born and (at 23) ordained a priest. Too, his very name is on the street that takes you to the Duomo Church of Her initial apparitions.  He will soon be beatified.  It’s set to be done by our very first Jesuit and American pope ever. When? Right on Oct. 19 of this year – the very date of the very feast of the North American Jesuit martyrs.  How? Thanks to the miraculous cure of an American baby in the womb just recently, via the intercession of soon-to-be ‘Blessed’ Pope Paul VI — proven by his cloth touched to the pregnancy and the two women there invoking him. Likely, prolife groups especially in the USA will hereafter promote his intercession for any other difficult pregnancies and thereby bring forth the follow-up canonization of another Vatican II pope and with unprecedented shortness of time elapse since other V-II popes finally being canonized recently, too: St. John 23rd, and St. John Paul II!!  Praised be our very prolife Mystical Rose Madonna!  Even likely the most prolife priest in history (founder of the Lambs of Christ), Fr. Norman Weslin, o.s., (now deceased) referred to babies as little roses and promoted cloth roses on clothing, etc. as a main prolife symbol for the causes of rescuing  preborn babies from abortion.

As Rosa Mystica, she does many DDs – not just mystical phenomena.  Indeed, in the ‘Duomo’ of Montichiari (where she first appeared), we had Mass right on St. Rita’s memorial, preaching too on her life and how she is held as the patron both of the thorn and of the rose (due to her forehead stigmata and miraculous rose delivery pre-death). It was by far one of my all-time favorite Masses ever.  It was during Mary’s May month that our apostolic Mystical Rose missionary of India, Brother Sobichen Matthew and i went to Italy where Mystical Rose appeared, and Mass was celebrated daily by this American priest, both in Fontanelle and Montichiari – what an honor for me! Too, in the official Brescia Diocesan periodical (even online) of June 2014 – Year 24 – N. 5, and called THE VOICE OF ROSA MYSTICA. MOTHER OF THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH   FONTANELLE DI MONTICHIARI – (Brescia) the main article of newsy updates closed with mention of a Mystical Rose foundress, and that “with her also came [to a meeting with appointed Brescian leaders: Msgr.s Giancarlo and Marco Alba] an American priest and an Indian seminarist. Both would like to found a Community for men in the spirit of Rosa Mystica.”

Leaving the World Congress of the Mystical Rose in Panama City last October, Panamanians invited me to lead the rosary to the airport, and they loved this simple chant to close rosary decades… Ave Ave, Ave Maria, Ave Ave Ro-O-sa Mystica (to the Fatima Ave melody). That chant led later to the MRMS Ave Song in February of this year, now here shared for Mary’s July month… Here’s the simple new tune in Mary’s honor entitled, AVE MARIA ROSA MYSTICA.  (We sang its refrain today at the closed abortuary killing mill with our rosary procession, and with ladies receiving and holding roses, too.) It goes to the melody of my SOLT Ave Song (on YouTube) taken from the Fatima Ave melody.  The newer lyrics for our Mystical Rose came to me on 2/27/14, the Memorial of St. Gabriel of the 7 Sorrows.  Here they are:

“For the 13th of July, God’s Mystical Rose, requested her feast day and not to be opposed… Ave, Ave, Ave, Ave Maria; Ave, Ave, Rosa Mystica. Mary shed many tears, ah(!) for so many years… yet ever in Heaven Mystical Rose never suffers… Ave, Ave, Ave Maria; Ave, Ave, Rosa Mystica.”  The lyrics to the hymn can easily expand if people want to have such. After our May meetings in the Brescia Diocese, opportunities for the feast day of July 13 to finally be established may be growing. Also we witnessed more direct Mystical Rose liturgies there in Fontanelle and with the Msgr. Giancarlo there in charge, evincing Mystical Rose more officially there like never before.

Thanks, too, for such public devotion, both to Monsignor Giancarlo and Monsignor Marco Alba, as well as to Bishop Luciano Monari of the Brescia Diocese. Again, Brescia is the very city where Ven. Pope Paul VI had first served as a priest. We can surely rejoice greatly on his beatification in the Month of the Rosary, and invoke him for our Mystical Rose Mary’s plans, for babies, for our Pope and for the Brescia Diocese, etc. Even I had been invoking him daily, thanks to the H.S., before knowing of the planned beatification, either.  He authored the prolife Humanae Vitae encyclical and was a very fervent Marian devotee.  He wrote 3 Marian encyclicals, visited Marian shrines, and officially proclaimed Mary as the Mother of the Church [as Mystical Rose Herself expressed, and for her medal, too] — which Image St. JPII set up with a lamp right outside his papal apartment window.

Glory to the Trinity, and to The DIVINITY!

Month of the Sacred Heart, 2014

06/01/2014

Dear friends of the Mystical Rose,

While June is the Month of the Sacred Heart, we can also honor the entire Body of Christ as God wills.  Why? Even though we emphasize His Heart, we don’t have a month of the Mind of Christ or of His Face, Hands and Feet, nor of His lungs (from which He breathed the H.S. upon the Apostles), Mouth with Holy Tonsils and Teeth, etc.   Mainly, though, as the Holy See may side with our titles for the months after His July Month of the Blood (August for His Soul; September for His Divinity), the whole month of June could favor His whole Body, since the Eucharist (for April, month mainly of His Mercy) is of His Whole Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

How does this June Title (made more full – of Christ’s Whole Body) go all the more with our Mystical Rose?  Having just finished our historical meetings with the Monseignors of the Brescia Diocese for our MRMS – meetings which went so well, so that there is now a plan for starting our MRMS House right there in Fontanelle (where I’ll gladly go and dwell, God-willing) – we want to bring out all the more the traditional Body portion that goes with the Mystical Body of Christ.  Which?  Of course, as is Biblically clear — the Mind of Christ (which, of course, goes far more corporally with the Head) is what Paul insisted we are to put on.  At least equally (if not more) memorable (Biblically) is the teaching that Christ is the Head of the Mystical Body.  Therefore, Mystical Rose Mary (who the great St. Bernard, Church Mystical Doctor, taught is the Neck of it), would surely not object to bringing out in June (or in more ways than one) the importance of the Head/Mind of Christ as the Head of the Mystical Body. So, while the Heart is by no means to be lessened in any way, good to have both and more as the Head and the Heart go together so much in the free will of the person’s necessary advances from justification to sanctification to glorification – as being of predestination for favors, if complying to God’s layout.

In a way, as fathers are officially taught to be like the Heads of the family, and mothers as the Hearts of the family, the Immaculate Heart of Mary would love to have the Head of the Holy Family to be seen as part of the Mystical Body of Christ.  Joseph could go with Christ the Head, being Jesus’s earthly father as foster father, and too with the very elbows – as Mary’s very Month of May begins with Joseph the Worker.  Whoever is doing manual labor is also laboring to at least some extent with the elbows.  Even if one is only manually typing up labors on a computer desk or other, the elbows have to be set correct for the rhythm, etc., of the fingers and/or palms of the hands.   While this would not bump off Jesus as The Head of the Mystical Body — since Joseph would also have obeyed especially the divine side of Christ in any directives that the Babe/Boy/Youth may have set to him – truly Joseph had his position as the head of the family and Jesus even submitted Himself to his parentage and Mary’s too, and not only at 12 when found in the Temple.

In sum, June is a great month for the Immaculate Heart of Mary (which is in June), so one with the Sacred Heart of Jesus of which the month is entitled, yet also the Mind of Christ, Head of the Mystical Body.  Not that the mindedness of the Logos required a human head, yet due to the Incarnation, even in eternity His Divinity is united with His Humanity.  Therefore, His Divine Mind is wedded to His human head, even as St. Leo the Great preached on the Ascension that Christ’s Human ‘nature’ was ‘wedded’ to His Divine Person, and now seated “at the right hand of the eternal Father.”

Month of Mary, 2014

05/01/2014

This is a great MRMS month.  Even if we don’t see immediate success — we May in MAY, though (no mere ‘pun fun’) — to finally launching the Priests’ Society of the Mystical Rose there in Italy this May (meetings are set up for it), we do know of blessings and hopes already had.  Too, the Diocese in charge of the apparitions — the site itself (where I’d even love most to live and die in, God-willing only, and with the prophesied 5 Dome Mystical Lighthouse eventually built there) — has learned of many worldwide fruits of Mystical Rose devotees.  In a very marked way in India many mystical wonders, yet too other Ordinaries of Dioceses have officially allowed Societies of Sisters and, of course, official Lay groups (the one in Montichiari itself).

Especially toward the Year of Consecrated Life in 2015, given that our Mystical Rose not only promises religious vocations but truly helps to sanctify them, no wonder that Mystical Rose’s religious are expanding.  It is moving along in harmony with the H.S. inspiring Pope Francis to have such a Year for the Church in 2015.  He may even know that She promised not only an abundance of religious vocations where she is honored, but a “SUPERABUNDANCE” of such, as in Honduras, too, where she has great though rather private honors.

Of course, all vocations are called to live out the evangelical counsels at whatever levels set by God for each – married, single, with or without special promises to chastity (Church allowed, and for possibly more charitable works) since God especially calls married people to procreate human life (though some married saints, even my patron of England, took promises of chastity – mainly Mary and Joseph though).  With two great popes canonized just last month — especially our outstandingly Marian Pope — St. John Paul II can help continue our causes for holiness and for Mystical Rose’s Immaculate Hearted hopes for Her especially Marian-minded people to advance in the Consecrated Life: thanks so very much to the prayers, sacrifices, and penances too of lay supporters.

Have a great Year toward the one of Consecrated Life and with full confidence in our holy threesomes – our Triune God, the Holy Family, etc.  – and in a special way in May of Joseph the Worker (May 1), St. Athanasius (May 2), and the Apostles Philip and James the Lesser (May 3).  For our causes all the more, invoke for us the very patron saint of the Brescia Diocese wherein are Montichiari and Fontanelle – the martyr SAINT PANCRAS (May 12)!  Thank you all!!!

Glory to the TRINITY, and via Maria ROSA MYSTICA!
