How we can become instruments for Blessed Mother!10/22/2009 0 Comments I have a wonderful testimony to share about MARIA ROSA MYSTICA!
A little over a year ago, I began working on creating this website. I happened to visit Opus Rosa Mystica’s website and read their guestbook. I only read a few entries but one of them magnetized me. It was from someone from Venezuela who was, at the time, studying in the seminary. He was asking for a statue to be donated so they could have in the seminary to help them stay loyal to their vocations. Something just moved me about his post that I sent him an email to see if he had ever received the donation. If I remember correctly a few years had passed since he posted his request onto the Guestbook from when I had read it. I emailed him on October 28, 2008. He responded back on November 4, 2008 that he never did receive the donation but he finished his studies and was now working in a local parish which is very poor. He expressed his desire to still receive a statue of our Blessed Mother and on that day I made my promise to him that I would find a way to get him a statue. I did tell him that it would not be from Opus Rosa Mystica because it is not easy to receive one from there because of the overwhelming demand but I would send him a replica. Time passed on and we would sporadically keep in touch. During this time I was unemployed and spent alot of time sick but I kept praying and asking anyone I could for a donation. Many times I felt so frustrated because I was not able to obtain a statue for my friend in Venezuela. On October 17, 2009, almost a year later, my mother-in-law and I rented a table for a craft fair in a local Church. I had some skin care products that I had to sell so I went into the Chapel and kneeled before the Tabernacle and prayed to God and Maria Rosa Mystica to please let me sell some of the products so I could buy and send the statue to Venezuela. That day we had no sales. I left there completely frustrated and even told my mother-in-law that I didn’t understand why they didn’t allow the sale if I was offering the money for a good cause. I spent the week very down spiritually. On Thursday as I waited for my son’s CCD class to finish, I went into the Church and just sat in front of the Tabernacle and had a spirtual meltdown. I told God that I was like a child throwing a temper tandrum on the floor kicking and scream but since I feared there would be cameras and people would think I was completely crazy, I just let God know that was exactly how I was feeling. I sat in a one-sided conversation with God for about 1 1/2 hours. I expressed my spiritual disappointments and how I wasn’t feeling His presence. As I stood to leave, I looked at the Tabernacle and told Jesus that I was leaving just the same way I came in, empty. As I walked down the aisle I reflected on a picture painting right above the doors of Our Lady and the disciples gathered together as they received the Holy Spirit. I prayed to Our Lady and the Holy Spirit to please not let me leave this church the same and to please light my fire again. I left the church and in about 1/2 hour, I received an email from the Parish Secretary of a Church in Arizona informing me that they received a statue of Maria Rosa Mystica and decided not to display Her. She was looking for assistance in finding a place to send this statue to. She found my email address through my website. You can not even imagine the chills that ran through me as I read her email. I knew at that moment that this was the answer to my prayers and the reason why I never could get a statue to send. The statue they received was one from Opus Rosa Mystica! The same one that my friend in Venezuela had wished for all along. He was meant to receive one from Opus Rosa Mystica and the Parish Secretary, their Priest and myself were only instruments for Our Blessed Mother. The statue is in the process of getting re-packaged and shipped out directly to Venezuela. I have already given the great news to my friend. He is beyond excited and just can’t wait for Her arrival! The lessons learned here are of patience and understanding that God’s time is most of the time very different than our time. It doesn’t mean that our prayers aren’t heard but we need patience and confidence that God does hear us and He will allow when He feels the time is right. Jesus IS truly present in the Blessed Sacrament! Thank you to my Blessed Mother, Maria Rosa Mystica and the Holy Trinity for giving us this gift of Your manifestation. I pray that this testimony will help others along in their spiritual journeys to get closer to you. Dear Blessed Mother, bless our friends in Arizona and Opus Rosa Mystica for their generosity and willingness to serve You! Thank you to my friends in Arizona!
